INFORMATION TO BE PROVIDED TO THE PUBLIC PURSUANT TO ARTICLE 16 OF THE REGULATION ON THE PREVENTION AND REDUCTION OF MAJOR INDUSTRIAL ACCIDENTS

2. Preparation of the “Major Accident Prevention Policy Document”:
Our organization is subject to the provisions of the “Regulation on the Prevention and Reduction of Major Industrial Accidents.”
The notification specified in Article 7 of the Regulation has been made through the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization’s BEKRA system.
Within the scope of the BEKRA notification, our establishment has been classified as a “Lower-Tier” establishment.
In accordance with Article 10 of the Regulation, our company has prepared the “Major Accident Prevention Policy Document.”
3. Activities carried out at our establishment:
Founded in 1996, Kırmızıgül Cosmetics has been producing cosmetic products in compliance with ISO, SGS, and GMP standards since 2011, at its modern factory located in the Çerkezköy Organized Industrial Zone, covering an area of 20,000 m².
4. Measures to be taken in the event of a major accident:
In case of a major accident, detailed preventive and response measures have been established, and all personnel have been properly trained on emergency procedures.
In the event of an accident, relevant authorities will be promptly informed by company personnel.
Individuals should immediately move away from the scene and remain in a safe area until the hazards have been eliminated.
Flammable gases and chemicals are stored within the facility.
Possible scenarios such as fire, explosion, or environmental pollution have been simulated, and numerous preventive measures have been implemented.
In addition to measures that prevent the spread of flammable materials, there are also alert systems to control and limit such situations.
If any environmentally hazardous substances are spilled within the storage area, no leakage into the soil is possible.
In the event of a major industrial accident, an Internal Emergency Plan has been prepared to minimize the consequences and to ensure coordination with emergency services, neighboring facilities, and relevant institutions.
All potential scenarios have been assessed, and personnel have received the necessary training.
All possible accident scenarios have been evaluated, and Hazardous Substance Intervention Cards containing information on the substances and intervention methods have been prepared and shared with the relevant authorities.
